| Re: The Walking Dead Does the second series still do that horrible thing of having Rick say what the "Right" thing to do is, have everyone disagree, he restates the "Right" course of action and everyone just folds? The first series would have been improved if someone had just said "Look, we watched civilisation collapse, we know what it takes to survive. You were in a coma and haven't got a clue, so shut up." |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: The Walking Dead Didn't thought he did it at the first season, but no, they're nothing like that as they're quite an argumentative punch in the second series. But if you're against Rick then please don't watch it as he's playing ONE OF THE KEYROLES, not all of them. |

| Re: The Walking Dead There are several occasions where the argument for doing something is "What is right", no hint of circumstances, survival or what is possible. Such as rescuing the guy they handcuffed to the roof. Risk everbody because it is what nice people who haven't seen civilisation destroyed would do. With no argument beyond repeating "This is the right thing to do!" |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: The Walking Dead So what is the right thing to do when the dead people are creeping upon you? All I can say that second series is nothing like the first and it's not following faithfully the comics. Some has gone off because there was not enough of zombies lurking around and some really enjoyed finding another side of the characters, especially as Shane's challenging Rick leadership more than often. So if that's what you're after, then go ahead watch at least first three episodes and decide yourself if they did the right thing. |

| Re: The Walking Dead Still got the second half of series two to watch but I preferred series 1 in its pacing. Its starting to feel a bit soap-opera-y, or LOST-y, like the are stringing it out. |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: The Walking Dead I recommend you to watch first half, up to the Nebraska, back to back as the first half happens around a couple of weeks, where the survivors feels safe. The second half breaks up a bit from that standard as the group starts to explore the surroundings a bit then usual and the series end up that the foot steps of the Prison. According to the producers, they will spend next two series in the Prison. Won't talk about that as it will spoil things. And for you all that complain, I absolutely loved the series and if there is something you to want to say, then please say it in the individual episode posts. |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: The Walking Dead A fan favorite from The Walking Dead comic book on which the AMC series is based, Michonne will be played by actress Danai Gurira (Treme) when the show returns for season 3 this October, and here is your exclusive first taste of what she will look like. Image credit: Gene Page/AMCIn the comics, Michonne is an unflinching warrior who proves to be powerful ally for Rick Grimes and the rest of the survivors. But how different will the onscreen version be? The essence of the character her personality, her motives, everything that makes Michonne Michonne remains intact from the comics, says Robert Kirkman (the creator of the comic and executive producer of the TV adaptation). But like a lot of things on the show, there will be little tweaks and differences here and there. We saw that her introduction is slightly different from how it was in the comic, and her interaction with Andrea is really going to be a really cool addition to the character that I think will get television viewers up to speed, and theyll get to know her a lot faster than comic book readers did. http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/05/23/wa...rira-michonne/ |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: The Walking Dead ![]() The Governor has arrived! The third season of The Walking Dead will feature the introduction of one of the most formidable villains on the AMC series: The Governor (David Morrissey), a character from Robert Kirkman's graphic novels who is the vicious leader of Woodbury, a small settlement of survivors. "The Governor in the show is definitely going to be The Governor in the comic," Kirkman told us following the Season 2 finale. "I think that he's definitely going to be a character that people love to hate and are absolutely entertained by, but also somewhat terrified of. He's definitely going to be a very important character and a very nuanced character. We are not going to be watering him down." http://www.tvguide.com/News/Walking-...n-1048647.aspx |

| weaver of the unseen | Re: The Walking Dead Lennie James, who played Rick's first post-apocalyptic friend Morgan in the pilot, says there's every possibility he will eventually return, and indeed it sounds like it could have already happened: "There's a possibility I might go back. It just depends on timing-wise if I'm free. At least one of the times they contacted me about it, I was busy doing something else."http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news...te-also-gossip |
