The Tea Room (Renovated)

*with a rush of air, JD plunges through the door of the newly-refurbished Tea Room, slamming the door behind him and panting as if he has just run a 5-mile race*

Yeesh! Since when did those voracious little monsters learn to leave the water for the land? Yipes!

*catching his breath, he looks around*

Hmmm... not a bad job... but I've seen better.

*there is a groan from overhead, and the rafters seem to settle just the tiniest bit*

Uh-oh. I thought that whole thing was taken care of. This could make things interesting... especially if anyone gets up to the usual hijinks. I think I'd better see about getting a repair crew in here, just in case.

*opens the door a crack, only to see (and hear!) a liquidy snarling sound*

Oh, you have got to be kidding! I know this is the Chrons and all, but... jeez!

*looks around for the nearest window then, careful to make no loud noise, quickly makes his way to it, turns the knob and steps outside. once there, he as gently closes the sash before turning to head for the hills in search of a crew to rectify the oversight... and perhaps help find a solution for the newly amphibious carnivores....*

*In the quietness of the room (allowing for anything that might be there lurking) there is a slight movement in the air, and a battered, yet somehow familiar biscuit barrel appears in the middle of the room*

*wonders if fresh cornetti might also be available, is excited to find they are and scoffs most of them*

[The Procrastinator]

The door opens a crack and a thread-bear face peers around, nose twitching. There is no jar of hunny. The nose withdraws, taking the rest of the face with it.

A door forms in one wall, disgorging Freda who is pushing a shopping-trolley the Ace follows, trying to placate the brownie, who wasn't too happy about his library being used as a shortcut.

*trundles in, looks around*

*Selects largest sofa, and passes tentacles over it*
