| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) * The shoggoths ooze around Samhain and start to absorb the Host of the Dead, reducing many of them to shuddering protoplasmic blobs, and pushing the rest slowly back toward the Door...* As I've already explained - ownership of this room isn't negotiable - it belongs to the Roman and the rest of his mortal kind. Patience I have in vast quantities, but you begin to use more than your share, figment of despairing imagination. Give me the Newt, or suffer the consequences... |

| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) Really? Look at the clock. Your night ended nearly two hours ago, as the local inhabitants measure time. Even now, the new day approaches from the East, and even you cannot stop it... *every piece, even the tiniest, bit of sliced-up Shoggoth puts out tentacles, turns, and starts advancing on Samhain, followed by the adult ones not busy mopping up the Host...* |

| Flaming Poltergeist | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) *Swings scythe again and turns more shoggoths into centipedes and earwigs* That's where this one comes in handy. *Shakes her* October's dying day, we're hear to stay. Hole won't close by itself. The endless darkness, the death of the sun, reigns here and so do we. It'll be nice to put my feet up on something soft for once. |

| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) *More and more shoggoths reach Samhain's feet(?) and start to ooze up him toward Hoopy* The Door may not close of itself, but I can shut it - and then where will you be, youngster? You cannot draw power from this domain, and without the open Door, your reserves will dwindle like snow in the sun... *Gestures at the Door, whuch shudders and starts, imperceptibly, to close. More shoggoths reach Samhain, and start to nibble at his legs,,,* |

| Flaming Poltergeist | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) *Samhain regards the closing area that was once the cupboard* *He remarks breezily* You're closing the wrong bit. *He kicks at the Shoggoths around his feet, sweeping his scythe again, and more shoggoth-turned-insects litter the floor* *She wriggles in Samhain grasp* For the love of the gods, I'm fed up of being here listening to you swinging your oh-so-mighty powers around. Pyan, stop that, that's just the cupboard you're closing up there, and that's not gonna do any good. *Looks up at Samhain* And so much for all your fancy words, you just wanted to get your feet up in here! *Concentrates, and a backwards wind starts up, tugging at Samhain's robes* Don't you DARE. As you say, I opened it! *He tightens his grasp. She gasps and wiggles, but keeps on concentrating, and Samhain slides backwards across the mossy, darkened carpet, wedging into the cupboard doorway that was* NO. |

| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) As his brain finally wakes up, the Ace brings his sword down on the scythe's wooden haft. The druid-enhanced iron doesn't even slow down as the wood shatters. "Pyan, the gateway's at the back of the cupboard." |

| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) As Samhain, regards the shattered scythe, the Ace strikes again, a perfect headbutt to the bridge of the nose. The Shoggoths swarm over the downed figure. "Hoopy, if the Chron means anything to you, get weaving !!" |

| Flaming Poltergeist | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) *Clutches onto the ruined door frame with all her might. Finally Samhain fumbles his grasp and is pulled through into the cupboard with a giant groaning, cracking sound, spiralling down into the darkness within* *Any remaining festive beings are pulled with it in the backwards wind, which seems to only affect them* *Concentrates* Sewing up the edges! *Within, the cupboard lightens....lightens...it's walls and floor return to a more sensible size, although its elongated length elects to stay. The inside of it is pretty much ruined, its contents scattered everywhere* *Slides down the smashed door frame* Bloody hell... |

| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) Freda hugs Hoopy. "So, my next task is to do something about that wall and re-hang the door. Mind you, if you weren't a girl, I'd knock your block off right now." |

| At the end of reality | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) *Yawns and stretches, looking around the room as he climbs out of the piranha pool* Oohh, my head. Who dumped me in there? What happened in here? Is Toronta okay? Why didn't anyone alert me to what was going on? |
