Freda scuttles off to find Wally, knowing him, he'll be in the mural.

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

*Wanders in quietly, slipping past the now-sleeping Kirby*

"To Nixie or whoever might else be reading this. I have decided to go on a little journey by myself. I think I might find some form of tranquility that I have not felt for a long time, so I can once again join you guys. Don't worry about me-I've packed plenty of water for where I am going and I will make sure not to bother any of the big creatures with the pitchforks. Also, I have made sure to pack a lot of special invisibility potions I bought from a traveling salesman named Honest Bob. He guaranteed me they would work or half my money back.
Also, If you hear any loud screams coming from the direction of the ruins of the bunker, do not panic.

Sincerely,

Karn. The resident Storm Bringer"

"P.S. I have also borrowed a certain book from the library called Translating Ancient Latin Glyphs, Wards, and Runes. Please return it ASAP before the brownie gets upset that it was missing, and make sure to restore the magical locking ward on it. Thank you."

KARN!!!! Honest Bob, he's the most dishonest potions seller around. I banished him a few years back didn't realise he'd sneaked back.

Seems as though most of us have a case of that these days.

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

It's a terrible case indeed; one doctor I consulted on the matter suggested verbal laxatives, but the warning notice stated that use of such medication can result in dramatic reductions in the IQ level along with purple spots and rashers of bacon. The latter isn't so bad, but the former are far more worrisome.

*Gasps, after a great delay, at getting his nose batted by a newt!*

Gah newts!! And times are chilly again, tis the downside to heading back to the flat is paying for ones own heating.. or not paying for not heating.... But what about newts? Good Christmas times?

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Yah, was most delightful. Managed to get home for the first time in a year, saw lots if the family, got lots of attention because of the irregularity of my finally "courting", as they still call it. Ate a hell of a lot of food, but that's what you do at Christmas. Got some very nice sff based presents.

Yourself?

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Ahh sounds like a good Christmas indeed (even if the UK didn't get nearly enough snow this year!) As for me headed home again and got the wonders of central heating, free foods, free internet and the slowest laptop there is (seriously my old - now dead - laptop from nearly 10 years ago was faster on the net than the brick I have to borrow when I'm at home).

Also you courted? I thought that was what we males were supposed to do - or something similarly named linked to male superiority in such matters or something suchlike -- I'm sure the info is bound up in those romance novels that I always avoid

On the gifts side sadly my family has yet to discover the internet (I mean they know it exists but not how to actually use it for anything much) so sadly a wolfy list had to be limited to common highstreet finding stuffs. Still got a really warm jumper made by that Jack W. chap (apparently it counts as this "fashion" stuff). Plus a few odds and ends and a spotting scope thingy for spying on people -- er birds like tits ----- no no not those birds, proper birds, with feathers all over and stuff
