Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Ahh that reminds me I picked up a copy of Soulsilver the other week - nostalgia on the good old best series of the games that is; plus lots of new added content and a day/night cycle that doesn't start at 5/6pm (which I think is around when it was on the original version). But soooo much fun to have a backlight to play with!

Also if you love sandbox you've got to try minecraft - its like lego sandbox with added zombies!

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Ah, see, I was all about waiting until the third game of each stage came out, so I was for the Crystal. And Emerald. And Platinum. And Pokemon Ranger, which was quite fun in how different it was. Proper storyline to that bad boy, and no catching pokemon. Which sounds rubbish, but you're too busy beating bad guys. I think Platinum might be my favourite thus far, although I'm yet to get through White. The graphics are AWESOME in White.

I keep hearing about this Minecraft but all it sounds like is building! (This is where you suddenly rant at me that it's so much more than that!)

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Yes yes exactly cause there is mining and then there is surviving cause when night comes or in the caves things come after you to kill you! And mining is important to get the shiny things; besides you've got to at least roam around with the world generator; generates some impressive landscapes which are massive (possibly limitless!)

But yeah I might take a peek at one of the newer pokemon games, though chances are Soulsilver will keep me more than busy for a good while yet. Graphics might be older, but its got all the classic charm!

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Yeah, I think the hazard of playing the newer games is the the older ones start to look weird and...well, old. I could still probably play dear old Red again, though, just for nostalgia's sake.

Maybe I'll look into Minecrafting. But if I get sucked into this, and Goodreads, you owe me a whole lotta time, mister!

Speaking of which, escape time approacheth. See you on the other side (as in, when I'm at sweet, sweet home) if you're still lurking!

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

A wolf always lurks - the trick is not getting lost lurking in the bushes - cause then you get all turned around very easily.

Good travels on your escape home!

Yup, it's a sod trying to feed tadpoles. Anyway, there's a difference between karma and picking on someone. Evening, Nixie.

Maybe Freda's just showing off her latest work, she's started the ice-sculpture again.

What? Did I hear something about tadpole again? No!

Juken, one more word out of you and I glue your mouth with bitter taffy!

And this chicken suit! Enough of it! *Tears the chicken suit off, immediately shifting into a genie form*

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Then YOU can wear it, Freda! *Grabs hold of Freda and after a lot of struggling stuffs her into the chicken suit*

That thing was hot and stuffy and I hated it. *Sniffles* And I've had a cold all this time.
