Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Somebody really should attach these boards better. *Rummages around in his bag and pulls out a heavy smithing anvil, dropping it on the board sticking out*

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

*As the smithing anvil crashes down the floor board it gives an ominous groan. The wood starting to creak, complain and consider that it should have taken its business elsewhere before giving in and protesting. Snapping with a loud crack and taking several of its fellows down with it as the anvil falls into the small pit; a small cloud of dust and a few irritated cockroaches scurrying out to freedom.

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

*Having seen first hand the horrific treatment of their fellows a few of the neighbouring floorboards quickly decide that they too would prefer a more leisurely job as a bit of patio decking or shelfing and a furious sound of squeaking nails and twisting screws surrounds the put.*

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Careful where you put your feet; not only are there spaces that ought to be boards, , there are a lot of sharp metal thingies looking for surfaces to bury themselves in.

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

Hmm. *Looks around at the floor* Seems to me our floor has come to life and is trying to unscrew itself. Why might that be?

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

*Four of the boards having now managed to convince their metal companions to vacate find the other problem with their current situation; the lack of legs, tentacles, fingers (opposable thumbs or not) or even any moving parts leaves them very much trapped in their predicament.
However all is not lost for not long after the boards release their hold on the floor they feel a mighty, somewhat dusty, rising beneath them and sure enough second later the boards are sailing through the air, freedom in their woody minds as they soar upward ahead of a torrent of dust, white fur and a heavy sneeze

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

*pokes a rather dusty nose out of the hole and sneezes again before pulling his dusty self up and out, shaking and sending up a fresh cloud*

Yes indeed, though next time I think I might try the front door, it seems that the wood there is a might bit more used to moving around

Re: The Tea Room (Renovated)

I also recommend not going there - its dusty and cramped and the cockroaches are not good company. Also I'm sure I heard things scuttling down there!

*shakes himself again and then looks around the room properly, nodding greeitings as he goes* Hia Karn, Crispy, Ace, Freda, Tangle and *blinks at Hoopy* not currently newt Newt.
