Oh, and OR... beneath the floor in the old Tea Room (even when renovated) is not a particularly good idea. Just ask the Newt....

| At the end of reality | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) Actually, sir, Toronta is handling the wedding invitations. That's usually the department of the bride, isn't it? As for our Halloween party, or whatever you have planned, I'm not sure what's going on. I had a bit of a plan concerning the Hellmate, fifteen tons of pillows, a cannon, and a cheesy gameshow announcer with a microphone, but hey, it's your show, dude. |

Then it resumes its squeaking with ever more vigour, the squeak quickly travelling from one end of the boards nails to the other and then across to the neighbouring board* |

OR... I think, if I were you, I'd check around to make very certain I was alone down there... and by alone, I mean nothing but the floorboards, joists, and nails. If there's anything else, you may be in for trouble....

| At the end of reality | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) Come to think of it, JD, I thought I saw Ancalagon scrambling around under the floor in the corner yesterday, and I haven't seen him come out yet. And I can handle Him, if you may. If nothing else, I may have to invite a certain blood-haired girl to keep an eye on Him..... |

A moment later the squeaking picks up again; one of the boards starting to very very slowly rise its way up; the nails wobbling and slowly coming loose in their holes.* |

| At the end of reality | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) *Looks around briefly and stamps hard on the floorboard sticking out, ignoring the whine* That ought to keep that board in place. Now to check the catering list again. Let me see....Caesar salads? Check. Salmon, cod, halibut? Check. Crabcakes? Check. Steak? Check. Potatoes? Potatoes? Okay, who stole the potatoes? They're supposed to be baked with butter, chives, a hint of sour cream, and go with the steaks. |

| Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) Sounds as if you have your hands full with the preparations.... ![]() Well, I shall leave, and attempt to get some more writing done before my second shift at the hell-ho... errrr, at work. See you folks later.... *in exiting, j.d. impishly decides to "knock on wood" and chooses for this the board with the screws, eliciting as a result a sharp but muted yelp from beneath, at which j.d. grins before making his exit* As Bugs used to say, "Ain't I a stinker?" |

| At the end of reality | Re: The Tea Room (Renovated) Indeed, indeed, hands full of preparations. At least Ace fixed the power in the flower room. Invitations are out, seating arrangement now agreed on, just the catering list now. We have to get about a hundred pounds of potatoes. |
