At about eleven (my time, ten yours) pm yesterday.

Good to have so many wingèd helpers, saves on step ladder time.

Decides to put that statement on hold as an aerial – well, not dogfight, anyway – between feline and draconian elements results in a paperchain separating into two, and plunging floorwards.

Slumps in front of the fire and starts to make toast. Tangle opens an eye but doesn't budge from Freda's head. Both are spark out.

I always like a little brandy in my tea. *takes pint bottle out of coat pocket and adds a jigger to the teacup* I'm not a drinking man in terms of alcohol, but it seems I've heard the line from the calypso song, "We will have a bamboo hut and brandy in the tea." If that's luxury and bliss, I'm all for it. So, noting that I would be visiting a tea room, I stopped by and snatched up a pint of brandy, not neglecting to pay for it.

I was back out of the tearoom to revisit my general place in the lounge, now here I am again. But I hope nobody minds an in-and-out as I go for those lounge topics.

*Asks for a Christmas brew...black tea with some cinnamon, dried oranges and spices*

Ahhh...now that's the way to spend a snowy evening.

*pulls out a grain of wheat and feeds the chinchilla on his shoulder*

I do hope we're allowed tiny pets in here.

We have a giant spider, dragons of all sizes, somewhere there is a flying monkey, a kitten, a crock not to mention mechanical pets... and so on....

I think tangle will like a fuzzy playmate.

*Bob zips off again with dustpan brush in his claw/mouth*

"If you can get him out of the trees," glares at a moving branch on one of the Christmas trees.

That draught, Tangle over there.

"Thank you Freda."

ouch, Ace, Freda, Tangle needs her claws clipping. Removes Tangle from shoulder to curve of arm. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

He likes to jump out of trees almost as much as he likes climbing them.
