| Brian G. Turner | This evening's downtime Terribly sorry for the downtime this evening - there was a problem at the datacenter casued by a billing issue - the server should have been paid automatically but it seems for some reason this did not happen. The result was that the server company withdrew services while billing could be dealt with. All a big misunderstanding and everything is paid up, and should now continue paid for each month without problem. Terribly sorry for the problems earlier - but all resolved now. |

| Mad Mountain Man | Re: This evening's downtime That happened to our business site one time - wasn't our fault and they made no attempt to contact us before taking down our site. Stopping all our online sales. I was furious and they didn't keep our business for very much longer . |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: This evening's downtime Thank you again, Brian. It's funny how these little reminders tend to leave me thinking about how many people I would miss and possibly lose contact with forever if one of these glitches became permanent. I'm not ashamed to say I'd miss being here among various categories of friend and would regret not saying goodbye at least. And you know what's weirder? I never felt like that when I was leaving college or any of my last half-dozen jobs. So, thanks, Brian, from one stupid old man who found a home. |
