It seems that it will be the death of his mother, and his hopeless unrequited love for Amildala, as well as his arogance in his own superior abilities, that pushes Anakin towards the Emperor and the Dark side.
He already showed his anger on Tatooine.
On the other hand, Yoda fails to defeat Dooku because of his feelings for Obi Wan and Anakin, a big mistake.
The first Trilogy showed that the friendship of the main characters was a 'force' for good.
We know that Anger, Fear, Hate -- lead to the Dark side.
But surely Loyalty, Love, Devotion -- must be Good character traits, yet there is a fine line to walk between them. |
