Re: Film Interest

Thinks an Imperial film would work great - no big budget demands either which has to be a help in making it a possibility.

Re: Film Interest

I agree, Brian. Every now and then I get another sniff of interest, but it seems to fizzle out quite quickly. The interest for my new book, The Devil's Triangle, does seem a lot stronger, though. Enough to spark my agent into a frenzy of activity anyway. Let's hope he gets somewhere.

Re: Film Interest

Hi Mark, just tried to send you an email about the composition possibility but it won't let me do IM's or private emails yet!

Re: Film Interest

LOL!

More interest from one of the top UK film companies, too.

Re: Film Interest

An interesting development this week... a major British film studio enquired about the availability of film rights for The Darkweaver books. Now that's a bolt out of the blue! It seems someone in the hierarchy has read and loved the books and is interested in producing a screen adaptation. How interested remains to be seen.

Very good news, Mark - congratulations! Now if only the wheels of the film industry didn't turn quite so slowly...

That'd be amazing. They'd make really good films I reckon

Re: Film Interest

To use a fishing analogy, I got my first serious bite today on Devil's Triangle from a major US film agent/producer. Will have to see if I can keep him on the line now. Things seem to be hotting up on the dramatic rights front for me recently.
