Marked for spamming?

Why was a message about Michael Moorcock marked as spam when you have a Moorcock forum here? I wasn't spamming! I am a real person, and I provided a quotation about Michael Moorcock in a thread about Michael Moorcock?

Last night I finished off *The Steel Tsar*, thus wrapping up the Oswald Bastable
novels... this one grows on me more with each reading, and I quite like the way
Moorcock resolved some of the major threads dealing with Bastable here, relating his
exploits more tightly to his growing multiversal vision.

And, continuing with the Moorcock phase, I've begun *Elric: The Making of a
Sorcerer*, a graphic novel by Moorcock and Walt Simonson which takes place prior to
the events of *Elric of Melniboné*....

It looks pretty good in general, even if DC got the trademark and copyright
assignations wrong in the book! Ho hum. And I think the story is a legitimate
prequel to Elric of Melnibone, trying to explain how Elric came by his powers and
developing his relationship with the black sword and with Arioch.

Check out our Wikiverse page on that subject @ Elric: The Making of a Sorcerer -

And if I may indulge in another blatant plug you can visit Moorcock's Miscellany

Re: Marked for spamming?

Because you're only here to self-promote.

Your first post sought to simply post links to your own website, and oh - look - your username is your website name.

If you want to be a part of normal discussions and be a *part* of the community, you're welcome.

Simply put, we don't allow unsolicited advertising here, as with most forums. You need to either accept or reject that rule, but either way, it will be enforced.
