Re: FIFA WC Tipping comp Here's nothing (as opposed to No One): Friday 2nd Brazil 2 - 2 Netherlands (Brazil) Uruguay 2 - 0 Ghana Saturday 3rd Argentina 2 - 2 Germany (Germany) Spain 2 - 0 Paraguay (My "system" has Argentina having a very slight advantage over Germany, which I'm translating into a draw after extra time. Once penalties arrive, I'm backing Germany. My "system" has the same closeness of result for Brazil and the Netherlands. Here I'm counting on Brazil's greater experience to carry them past the Dutch.)

Re: FIFA WC Tipping comp The only way I can get anywhere near your points total is to choose different results and I had assumed you'd by tipping Brazil to win and thus I ought to predict a Dutch win (the only way of getting gaining four points on you in this match). The trouble was, my "system" predicted a very close match in Brazil's favour. So, reluctantly, I stuck with that and now you've given me the (very slight) possibility of recovering those four points. Not that I will, you understand.

Re: FIFA WC Tipping comp Agreed (though the Dutch version of "the English defence" made it a bit easier for them). But the referee has noticed that they're hacking down Robben on a regular basis (which may be why Robben keeps finding himself on the edge of the Brazilian penalty area not shooting or passing but surrounded by defenders). Or am I being too cynical?
