Babganoosh dip? Never tried that. Never even heard of it. Sounds... interesting.

I haven't, Wy. Not yet. I'll be sure to post the predictions in time, though. But I'd like to think about it a little more. Not that it's likely to help.

It is basically roasted eggplant and very nice. Last night I was having beetroot dip which was good but not outstanding.

Back to watch the SBS soccer preview show.....

HMMM...the Dutch already scored with a wonderful goal by Robin. I picked Holland 2 - 0, so may be OK for me..long way to go though...ARGH!....Robin just picked up a Yellow card pretty unluckily. Refereeing in this WC must be the worst I've seen in memory, recalling the 1986 WC as the first one I probably saw on TV, although I have vague memories of highlights of the 1982 cup. This probably coincides with the rise of the marvelous multicultural TV station SBS we have here.

The Baba Ganoush has been summarily dispatched...

Can't believe the ref has just ruined my perfect score by giving a penalty that wasn't a penalty when he should just have been blowing the final whistle.

What a stupid, pointless, and plain wrong decision. Grrr.

It's not as if it meant anything, anyway. The game was over. Banfrats!

Those damned Dutch**!

They were cruising along to give me four points and then they blew it. If you let an opposition forward get that close to the goal with the ball at his feet, the award of a penalty is always on the cards***.
