And it was good to see a real effort from everyone (Terry flopping about like a fish desperately trying to get in a block was hilarious, as was James' shouting "f***ing superb!"). Also pleased to see the US get through. They deserved it after having some decisions go against them. My 12-year-old prediction of the US winning the World Cup in 2010 is still on course.  |

| Re: FIFA WC Tipping comp I agree about the US. Yes, they were lucky to get the Hand of Clod goal, but they ought to have won their game against Slovenia (i.e. in the sense that their wrongly-disallowed third goal should have been allowed to stand). |
