I went with my heart on the Aus vs. Germany game (personally predicted 2 - 0 loss to OZ) so I won't try that again....  |

Amazing finish to the NZ vs. Slovakia game. 30 seconds to go on the clock in extra time and Slovakia leading I figured I at least had a point but NO...the Kiwis strike with a header tucked into the far post and the game ends in a draw. Amazing stuff. Good on the New Zealanders though...  |

| Re: FIFA WC Tipping comp Yeh me too. Still Lenny and einlanzer scored the maximum and Cul was soooo close to another 4 pointer it 'aint funny. That's one of the more extraordinary finishes I've seen to the world cup game. N.Z. kept pressing in the last 5 - 6 minutes and the Slovakians were only interested in defending their lead rather than attacking. That may have been a mistake. |

| Re: FIFA WC Tipping comp My prediction for the Ivory Coast - Portugal match was based on the continued absence of Drogba from the former's line-up. And now I've heard the commentator say that he may play a part in proceedings later on in the game. Darp! (On the other hand, Ronaldo seems to be in full diving mode today, so perhaps that will make a difference.) |
