GRRM at VeriCon 2006

Hear ye, hear ye!

George R. R. Martin will be a guest at VeriCon 2006, a science fiction and fantasy convention held at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The convention runs January 27th to 29th; it's been conveniently scheduled to run just after Feast for Crows is published. You can find out more at the Con website, www.vericon.org.

You have been warned.

I should probably move this thread to the events and conventions section but I will leave it here for at least a week, so that the myriad of Martin fans can see it. I wish I lived near Boston.

It's looking to be a good convention. If any of you out there are fans of Tim Buckley's webcomic like I am you can see the guest list is really shaping up.

I'm moving this post to the cons thread with a redirect here so that GRRM fans perusing his subforum will still be directed to the information

Okay, somebody hand me a paper bag. What's this "conveniently scheduled to run after FFC is published" bit? I thought it was going to be published in July!

Don't tell me I have to wait even longer!

Hmm... you're probably right. I've heard both July and December, but I just noticed that Amazon.com says December... of 2004. So that's probably the origin of the December claim, in which case you can safely discard the paper bag.
