| Re: A Re-introduction...? I tend to lean into the spatial analysis side of things - using GIS databases to interpret artefact patternings to then interpret how people used spaces. It's borderline voyeuristic really, the way we avidly go through people's refuse... Still loving it though! Edit: Glad to hear Esioul is still about! I think I last chatted to her on MSN five years ago now. Man, feeling old now. Double edit: Thanks for the hug! definitely needed it after foolishly watching the recent Tess of the D'Urbivilles last night. Don't know why I did that... |

| Knivesout no more | Re: A Re-introduction...? Oops that's right, it's GIS, not GPRS. It seems to be Esioul's favourite way to spend the time. She's especially keen on combing through miles and miles of extreme close ups of the Arabian Desert. You should try looking her up on Facebook, but of course she is only sporadically online unlike people who have less difficult things to do with their lives. |

| Re: A Re-introduction...? Hi BM, and welcome back - obviously the treatment didn't work, or you'd be cured of your addiction to the Chrons... It gets you, even after all this time?? Phew, that's some intersynaptic brain releaser... I'd say 'better luck next time', but if you think you'll be allowed out again, just remember 'The Prisoner' and how many escape attempts he made... |

Still in the UK, living in the Highlands of Scotland now - would love to travel, though, and Aussie in on the list.

| resident pedantissimo | Re: A Re-introduction...? Do you remember what I told you last time? Of course not, it was two years ago Hi - from an Oldie It still holds (and I'm still not narrow). Ah, well, I suppose it's good to see you back, even if it is with trepidation toward your next extended absence. You will notice the tea room is now the asylum, place of security and tranquility in a universe of sound and squalor. You wish. (The oak tree drinks tea; reasonable, for the tannin.) |

I'm hoping to be around a lot more now - well at least, if I'm not actively posting 24/7 I'll definitely be popping in regularly now I have no thesis to complete and am not in the middle of nowhere! Quote:
We should so do a swapsies some day! Or at least, if you ever come to Aus you've got a willing guide to the Mountains! Quote:
I'll be honest, I actually had a massive case of the guilts at my infrequent moderating and tried to slink off that list, but certain wonderful people wouldn't let me disappear that easily - It's nice to come back again finally....Hellooo Rosemary!! Missed you! And Boneman, I defy modern treatments and therapy on principle! Which works out well then, as I love the kinda crazy I find around these halls. JP: GIS is definitely time consuming and addictive - we can do such wonderful things now with it though! I'll also see if I can find her on facebook - I'm so spun out now by the fact that my life and activity on this forum predates facebook! I also seem to have misplaced some of my posts too... Sigh, I guess I'll have to get cracking and start posting again!
