I would imagine it would be money well spent! Teresa comes across as a eloquent, very knowledgeable, intelligent lady. And I'm sure her age, which is shown in her profile must be wrong.

I checked out her website and she doesn't look a day over 49.

Anyway, I'm sure with her experience, she could help you improve your book and your writing skills by 100%.

I wonder what genre's she specialises in?

telford -- I don't know your financial situation, but I'd advise you to ask Teresa for a quote, and I think you'll be surprised. I know her charges have gone up since I asked for her help last year, but not only were her fees very moderate then (in fact, having heard what others charge I would say very, very moderate!) but, for the amount of work she put in, they were a steal. And if you can't afford to have the whole book edited, there's still the option of having part of it looked at -- I just had the first third done, as it was the opening I was least happy with.

Gary -- you're absolutely right on all counts. And although Teresa specialises in SFF, she's able to work with any genres.

Hmmm...

I'm going to be soon firing draft 6 of to JJ, maybe I should let Teresa have a look. New set of eyes maybe?

My book is full of twenty first century Nazi's, twists and turns on known historical facts and a different take on recent events.

Bit like Dan Brown meets Tom Clancy meets Gary Compton. (I play the protagonist under a more interesting name of course)

It might not be her cup of tea?

No idea if it's her cuppa, Gary -- but she's a professional, and she'll be able to advise you regardless of her personal tastes.

Gary- I've sent Teresa everything from violent drug dealers to lounging, alien aesthetes. The lady takes it all in her stride.
