| ...Prepare Thyself | The Off Topic Thread We've all done it. In the heat of friendly debate some chance remark has resulted in a post that prompts you to go off topic and occasionally this leads to post things that you shouldn't. I thought it might be nice to have a well known area that we could go to to continue these discussions (obvioulsy not the offensive types). This happened to me recently in the What do you love to describe in writing? A post by Teresa tempted me to respond however, the thread was veering heavily away from the original intent and to respond would have made it worse so here goes. No doubt the powers that be will squash my futile attempts at a possible solution to this fairly common problem. Quote:

![]() Gary your concern for my plight is touching. That I could be so lucky to experience such a treat. Sadly, it would require a heat source and although I've asked for candles I fear they will never appear. Occasionally I do find a crisp dried spider that has fallen foul of the cooling fans and this does indeed at least lend a change in texture to my meagre repasts. | ||

| Re: The Off Topic Thread Far be it from me to remind the Judge of her options, but just for that sake of being topical in an untopical place (7-up served with pride).... - Subpoenae served on people and items - Orders to Cease and Desist (which of course allow her to declare contempt if the order is not acknowledged and carried out once served - Injunctions and Stays against this, that and the other So, naturally, her honor doesn't even REALLY have to get up off her bench at all, much less attempt physical entrance to the 1K..... |
