Beautiful girl, Dusty. Takes me back to my daughter's birth, one of the top three moments of my life (my son and my wife are the other two, naturally).

Glad to hear that you guys are doing great. Hope she's relatively quiet at night time, and that you're getting rest.

Awesome, DG!!She's a treasure! I think you'll find breastfeeding to be much easier than bottle feeding. Nothing like a ready-made meal at the ready when her dinner bell goes off!

I don't think there ever is any kind of happiness anyone can feel that goes beyond the birth of a wonderful, happy, healthy baby, and DG I'm sure is an excellent mother.

Surely the midwife only cut the umbilical cord to you. I bet your daughter still maintains the link to this site. After all, for nine or so months she has been attached firmly to us. Logic and genetics dictate that she will be a natural poster. I'm sure you will find this comes in handy in the months to come because let's be honest, she may have more time than you to visit the site.

Ahhhhh! What an adorable little baby. Well done Dusty. And - there are not many like us you know - the odds are pretty great to have two children on the same date. My two were born on 16 July two years apart. Hope your son doesn't think it's his birthday present??!!! Many congratulations.
