Re: Eastercon 2010 - London

Sadly no but I still live in hope for WorldCon....

It's over 20 years since I've been to London, so combining a Con with a wander through such a Literary mecca would be a genuine high point.

At this stage Eastercon 2012 or 2013 is a possibility

Yes, I appreciate that you are trying your best there.

In the meantime enjoy Eastercon!

BTW, you should have told me about Bones, they had a heavily discounted sale here recently incl. Volumes 1-9.......

Am still looking for Bone 4 and 9. Might have to finally get it in the UK or Amsterdam.

Re: Eastercon 2010 - London

Off-topic: I'm sure you'll track down a copy.

The sale also featured the rather rare and exquisitely produced single volume gold-gilt leather bound edition of the Complete Bone. Needless to say that was not on discount.

I presume you are aware there has been a TPB edn. of the Complete Bone available for some time now on the net? It may be cheaper to get that, albeit the production quality will suffer.

I'm going with a pal of mine. If I see a badge saying Nesacat I'll be sure to wave hello.

Re: Eastercon 2010 - London

Well, I always make space in my bag for all the books I'm likely to buy. Can you disguise yourself as a pair of socks?

If I was Ursa Major I'd say something like 'that's darn terrific'. Only funnier.

Re: Eastercon 2010 - London

and you my Preciouss .... sharing my shadows I see.

We did meet several Chroners? Chronics? last Eastercon and that was quite fun. I'd love to meet more.
And since it's in London this time, am hoping more people will make it.

Very Lovecraftian hotel to boot with its seemingly endless corridors. Plus they tend to not run out of mushrooms, which seems to be a very important consideration.
