Signing in Oxford 12th December - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

A group of local writers (YA and children's) will be signing copies of their books at Border's in Oxford from 12.30 - 2.30pm on Saturday 12th December 2009.

The provisional list of writers is:

Linda Newbery (David Fickling Books, Orion)•
Katherine Langrish (HarperCollins)
Mary Hooper (Definitions, Bloomsbury)
Mary Hoffman (Bloomsbury)•
Leslie Wilson (Andersen Press)•
Lucy Coats (Orion)
Dennis Hamley (Walker, Barn Owl)
Joanna Kenrick (Faber)
Rhiannon Lassiter (OUP)

• Nominated for the Carnegie Medal 2010

We'd love to see you and do announce yourself as a Chron if you come!

I would sooo love to come!! I've never been to a book signing before.... my auntie has thopugh, she's a librarian. I could ask her if she's going then I could get a lift....

Oh sorry - it was all off because Borders is closing down! I suppose I should have posted that here too but it was all over the news. I hope no-one turned up.

It's so annoying. I really liked Borders (there was a ginourmous one in the orbital, next to asda, but it got closed down and was replaced with new look) AND (this is the REALLY annoying part) i still have £21 of vouchers for it. So i dont know what to do with them. any suggestions?

I believe you become an unsecured creditor, and may get something back when it's all sorted out. I wouldn't hold your breath, though.
