| I need this for something I'm writing. When they do the countdown on Radio 1 on Sundays, which do they do first, the singles or the album chart? Rougly how much time passes between the announcement of the No 1 single and the No 1 album? I can't listen online because I'm overseas and the beeb blocks access (also my internet connection is too slow for audio) Last edited by FionaW; 1st November 2009 at 05:31 AM. Reason: spelling |

| Re: A question re the sunday afternoon singles/album charts Ah - didn't realise it was podcasted. According to Wikipedia they do the album chart on the same show - but then they mention that it runs from 4-7pm, so your timings only allow for one chart. Hmm. I need to find a British teenager who listens to this stuff. Not easy when you live in Tasmania! |

| ...Prepare Thyself | Re: A question re the sunday afternoon singles/album charts It may well have been in there but I didn't catch it. I even tried to find the play list times but no joy there Does it matter; can't you use the time from thirty to number one or some such. Course in the good old days they were separate shows. Have you tried the Virgin chart show or whatever the independants use. |
