| Pretentious Avatar Alert. | Re: Fantasy, SF or Horror? SF for me, then weird tale horror. I think I'd read a lot more fantasy if it didn't have magic in it. I read one recently and- while i loved the imagined world, its cultures and characters- the wizardly stuff seemed a drag. I get the feeling that magic gets tacked onto a lot of fantasy worlds out of some knee jerk instinct- 'well, its fantasy, it can't possibly not have magic!' Of course I could be stereotyping. I haven't read all that much. |

| Re: Fantasy, SF or Horror? I read it all, but I mostly read Science Fiction. I really like Space Opera and Military Science Fiction. That being said, I have read over 100 Dragon Lance books too. |
