Hi, I read a book some years ago about a race of very advanced aliens who landed on Jupiter's moon Europa and developed a civilization of robots a million years ago. 18 mastermind aliens controlled the population of robots. The protagonist is a robot (investigator I think ?) who is trying to save his planet. The book was old at the time (maybe written in the 70's or 80's. The color was yellow. I have no idea what the name was or the author. Every internet search I have done comes up with meaningless crap. Can't find it. Can you help me??? It was a great book. Thanks...

Re: Author/Title needed, tags: Europa, Robot, Aliens, Novel Best I could come up with is Isaac Asimov's Robot series where a human investigator is paired with a cyborg one. The only other option would be Ian Douglas' Heritage Trilogy. I hope someone has the answer for you!

Re: Author/Title needed, tags: Europa, Robot, Aliens, Novel Maybe this will help - then again, maybe not - there is a book about 1 million year old robot civilization on Saturn's moon Titan - James P. Hogan Code of the Lifemaker (big planet, small moon etc.)
