Hi, Jof2004. Welcome. Eddings and Gemmell - me too. Not a fan of Pratchett - I'd go along with that as well. Douglas Adams and Tom Holt were much funnier.

Well, if you read him, then maybe I'll take that back Martin and Erikson are certainly streets ahead of the rest in the epic fantasy genre...

I've seen your mentions of Erikson and Malazan all over the various threads. So I felt the need to oreder a couple of them from Amazon yesterday.
They need to be worth it, cos there's no hole deep enough that I can't find if they're poo.
