He tumbles and falls...
skateboard and head on concrete...
too funny for words...

Hospital people...
loud sirens and flashing lights...
the young lad is saved...
A cop now assists...
Tickets for all ambulances...
parking in... red... zones...

Briefcase clutched firmly,
a lawyer shouting "Justice!!!"
He offers his hand...

"Better yet, money!"
Legal rights explained, and now...
The lad signs papers...

Later... victory!!!
And a lawyer's parting words...
"Well, then... 'Til next... fall??? "

I love reading it but I just don't have a poet's heart.
I gave out on loan my one and only book on the subject and never got it back. Must make an effort to get some more.
Sometimes I think about my poor abducted paperback...
