Let me see - exposing oneself to ultraviolet rays generated at point blank range can cause cancer. Who would have guessed that? I always thought tanning beds were an industry designed to attract those with a surplus of money and a shortage of common sense, and now it appears to have been confirmed. Unfortunately, I have no doubt that most users will continue to use tanning beds until they are banned by legislation. After all, all of the studies on the hazards of tobacco haven't yet eliminated the desire to smoke.
