Perhaps there is a little Irish blood in me then. I use to take regular stabs at dancing but cannot say with any degree of honesty that I could have been a contender.

Oddly I grew up thinking I did have Irish ancestry but then at the age of 50 me sainted mother got around to telling me I was adopted. 12 years later and I still sometimes catch myself thinking in terms of the paradigm I believed growing up, sometimes seems to set me adrift. Could not have asked for a better mother though so I have no complaints.

Van Morrison calls it the Celtic Ray, the beam that makes lots of people think they have a connection with Ireland. Anyway, with the spread of the Irish.... who knows?

(I think the men dancing thing might be largely universal... )
