Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins!

I was asking about the source of the lowing, and speculating that someone wanted to bring cows in here. That hardly suggests I was previously aware of any cows, let alone being the owner of them.

In fact - always a good argument around here - there may be no cows.

Headbanging cows, i like it. It also means that you have now, officially brought the cows here, and you're a long long way from the highlands. See you, in about 6 months.

Do you forget that New Zealand has a big dairy industry, which just happens to have its main branch in the city I live in?

Actually, I thought butter was one of the main anchors of the New Zealand economy.

Do you remember the specific phrase or even part of it. I have it as an ebook and can do a search

Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins!

This is spooky: according to Wiki, the CEO of the cooperative that uses the Anchor brand in the UK (amongst other places) is a certain Mr Spierings.

Is this one of Springs's alter egos?

No, it's driving me mad. If it comes back to me, I'll let you know. (I have a notion it was either in a Jon or Robb scene, and it might have been around the time Robb agreed to the marriage, but I could be horribly wrong, plus I checked that section loads of times this morning.)

'fraid not. If I dare to buy butter, lamb, bacon, meat of any sort, potatoes, veg of most sorts except exotic, milk, bread - in fact, food, that doesn't come from somewhere in Ireland, preferably North, i run the wrath of my mum. to have anything to do with a company that produces non Irish butter could lead to a long lasting rift in the family.

acronym for:

I See What You Did There

In other words I got the joke Ursa was hinting at.

Hence the pressing need for an alter ego.

I rest my case.

No, can't go, far too educational. this morning I have learned the main exports from NZ, a new acronym, that cows headbang when we're not looking, and I have an impersonator. Where else would I have got so distracted from my editing?

Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins!

Springs I see a sentence in the prologue with 2 semi colons but not sure if that is what you are referring to. The sentence reads:

He stopped climbing; he listended; he watched.
