Yep, I know that stare, my long suffering wife occasionally turns it on me, like being struck by a Mac truck. I promptly apologize for whatever I just did or said. So far this seems to be working for both of us

the size of them these days, I dunno; one left turn at the ready meals and I'm back to the start; I reckon it's a cunning plan.

I cannot quite decide if your description means they are huge as they frequently are on this side of the pond or if they are small or if the layout is carefully planned. You have achieved a lack of clarity that is enviable (given it is frequently your goal)

Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins!

The layout of supermarkets, at least those owned by the big players, is very carefully planned. The same is true of shopping centres and malls.

It seems I've been casting pearls before... well, you know... with regard to puns. So this may be better suited to the audience:
Why's an oyster like a supermarket? They're both shellfish (shelf-ish).

Well, it scraped the bottom for me.

TY timba, for your kind words; I meant a bit of both.

Masterful, I list 3 options and you say "I meant a bit of both." You are totally on top of your obfuscation game. Bear has puns (well sort of judging by that last one) and you have obfuscation, I need to find my niche. I am going to retire to my hammock and ponder that a bit.

Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins!

Now there is an idea, I am pretty good at that, I mean after all I survived 40 years in corporate America where stringing people along is a highly desired and necessary skill. Thanks for the tip

Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins!

I guess I better check; a tip here is somewhere you can take your rubbish.

Don't tell me I managed 90000 words without losing you in Northern Irish lingo and now I just have. Oops.
