| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Where do you keep them? Do you have a little church in the back garden? I drink nothing but herbal tea; if I'm ever in your neck of the woods, that's good to know, they're a divil to get when out and about. But I once read that the intensive growing of camomile and peppermint is now destroying vast swathes of heathland, so I'm thinking of reverting to hot water and lemon. then, I heard about the lemon groves.... ![]() Less tongue in cheek, everything we eat does damage, and I dunno know about you, I need to have the odd mince pie and choccie. I try to reduce mileage, grow lots of my own and buy from local suppliers, as much as I can afford, and don't get too worried about the rest. Which isn't to say I shouldn't. ![]() hey, did you hear that thud? I think Timba just felll out of the hammock with boredom. Or non reappliacation of glue (have you seen where that comes from, -yeurrgh!) |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Yes!! I used to use "Cow Gum" all the time when I worked at a newspaper (in the olden days when "cut and paste" meant cutting things and pasting them). My sister told me it was "just a trade name" - and she was veggie before me! I carry a plastic pill-bag full of green teabags wherever I go ![]() Yeah, Joe Jackson wrote a song "Everything Gives You Cancer" and he warn't far wrong. Mince pies? Check. Veggie fillings available Chocolate - I went without for about a year and when I tasted my first Mars Bar afterwards I realised, for the first time in my life, that it actually has flavour! I'm afraid I can't stay away from chocs for very long. You're far more intensely considerate than I am, though. Growing my own is on the horizon, but till then I buy cheap 'n' nasty. Timba is now in a coma |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Yeah, nobody out-bores The Inter Man - as you might guess from the fact that I'm not too embarrassed to call myself by my name sandwiched between "the" and "man". Just wait till I get onto the subject of Time and Relative Dimensions and Their Role in the Origins of Our Observable Universe With Particular Reference to the Emotional State of the Conscious Entities that Occupy It and suddenly even Beckett's famous "One Word Repeated for Twenty-Eight Minutes by a Dwarf on a Step-Ladder" will seem like an entertaining diversion worth videoing for frequent repeatability. |

| Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! * Returns before the special people can completely take over the thread. * I've been hearing reports that the thread has entered a vegetative state. I'm not sure I believed them; after all, Oregon isn't even a complete herb. But the Maine thing is, I'm back to restore order. |

I guess this means I won't be able to get onto the subject of Time and Relative Dimensions and Their Role in the Origins of Our Observable Universe With Particular Reference to the Emotional State of the Conscious Entities that Occupy It I was looking forward to it. Bought a calculator and everything.Does his hammock look upside-down to anyone else? Perhaps he went to Australia.... |

| Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Relative dimensions? I'm pretty sure that some of mine wouldn't want me to measure them. (And they'd get quite emotional in making sure I didn't.) |

| Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! To be honest, Springs - no, really - I've been endeavouring to do something else entirely. (I'd tell you what it is, but dash it! It would have to be in code.) |
