| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Ok, but you know the two -legged ones with wings are the only ones you're allowed to shoot. The ones without wings are called "peasants", got that? But I agree, a lot of peasants seem almost classifiable as something approaching nearly human. |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Yes, peasants in the allotment; riff raff. Steal the onions and everything. Shoot 'em i say. At least the pheasants aren't so picky. I told my kids it was seed time soon, the groans are still going on. Last year there was a very odd ecosystem in our house for about 6 weeks; photosynthesis on a huge scale. I'm sure there's a sci fi story in that somewhere. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Some day, when I become a more industrious out-doory type, I plan to grow some herbs and veggies in my garden. The thing that's putting me off is the weeding. If someone could tell me which ones are edible, I could let 'em grow without embarrassment |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Ha ha, you are in the right place my friend; Oregano, grows like a weed, our garden's like an italian paradise. Thyme; ditto. And anything you don't like eating, no probs; curly kale and jerusalem artichokes, like weeds they are, grow through anything. Runner beans; pah, no hope. |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Well, I have to guess you were one who wore the large green wig - you should have directed it; saved yourself the pain. um, concerned now; you're a veggie, they're, like, your staple diet, unlike me where they're the added asides hidden to ensure my kids eat them. Holly on presented with a runner bean can tell me the variety; note to you must actually eat veggies occasionally, not just linda mccartney pies, which apparently include snake from time to time as not considered meat. |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Absolutely, corn snakes apparently. ![]() Cladius, pah, how many people have played Claudius. Now, a brocoli plant, original, allows you to put your stamp on it; although not on stage, please, imagine the mess. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Please tell me "corn snakes" are a variety of corn. Pretty please...... Well, that was my approach. I mean, Hamlet - pah! Only a one song and that's only for the chick who's about to top 'erself. Waste of good theatre, I says. Broccolis, though - Singing, dancing and talking. Now, that's what I call versatile. |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! and hair; don't forget hair with attitude. Absolutely, corn snakes are vegetables. They're buggers to catch, though, almost as if they're alive... ![]() The high point of my theatre career was, briefly, no, sorry there really was no high point, how I ever passed was a mystery to me and most of my year who all disowned me for the 3rd year production (worth half the total marks). in the end I did a solo bit of work at a school for kids with learning needs and got a first for the production so, see I am very bossy. The kids were stars; I just turned up. And painted a fence. And made some nice ears and tails; that was it. my career in fooling auditors was underway. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! I'm googling this and if you're right......... ![]() I did the same for a couple of years - two "special needs" shows which I coerced the cast into creating for themselves They loved doing it, I loved that they loved doing it, egos satisfied all round, pay-packet earned - and I managed to avoid painting anything, though I did some CGI backdrops for the second show. This is the bit where Timba says, "Hmm, maybe I was wrong about these guys being funny" |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! As well you should, but you're too late ![]() Actually, I can't see anything in the top page or so, so I'll have to guess it's this week's Urban Legend. At least, I hope so. Some L McC stuff is even cool for vegans, after all. |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! Well, if you will processed food, it's all pot luck. Um, you're not a vegan, are you? That's one I struggle to accomodate; cheese is a staple diet in our house. We stick it on every wall; helps with the insulation in these straigthened times. |

| Destroyer of Words | Re: Last Post in This Thread Wins! I tried for a while - Peter Graham pointed out what cows get up to in order to provide us with milk. I managed to cut dairy milk (relatively easy as I'd already switched to herbal teas), but there's no alternative (on a budget) to cheeses. I mentioned this to my pet Christians last week and they started to dance. I think they might have misheard me |
