| Re: Bunting Banned It's the usual health and safety malarkey. And one group (lamp post "owners") trying to shift any blame for possible issues (corroded lamp posts, which sounds like a major issue in its own right to me) onto someone else. |

However, in a world where children can’t wear goggles in swimming lessons in case they hurt themselves, where cemetery gravestones are staked up with sharp pointed sticks in case the gravestone falls on someone, and where parents are banned from school sports days in case any of them are paedophiles, well, anything is possible! | |

| Re: Bunting Banned Perhaps they could string up baby bunting. Just a thought. (I see bunting is "a term of endearment that may also imply 'plump'." It could be that the county council officials were worried that it was all a ploy to get permission for the members of the Ferndown Festival Committee to swing between the lamp posts Tarzan-style. Perhaps one of them was called Liana.) * Ursa starts planning new routes that will allow him to avoid Ferndown on his travels. * |
