Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

I think that mace's former padawan Depa Billaba is stronger she is a master at vaapad and she almost beat him when she was weak because her greater mark of illumination was cut from her head that made her weak she would of won if it dident happen so she is stronger than mace.

ZOMG!! THANK YOU FOR NOTICING!!!!

Everytime I think of Qui-Gon, there is a little mess in my pants. And for some reason, I always think of Jerry Seinfeld doing a bit on the master, going something like this: "What's the deal...with Qui-Gon Jinn? I mean, that hair!"

Qui-Gon's a bad ass AND my boyfriend. There is no question that Liam Neeson is the greatest man to ever walk this earth. Period

That the fundamentals of a dual-phase lightsaber are not rare. This type of lightsaber can be achieved by any lightsaber with two or more actively used crystals in the energy loop, or it can be a property granted by a special functioning of the power cell. Its most basic manifestation within the weapon is the ability to alter the length of the beam or cutting section. Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber is dual-phase capable, for example.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

it all depends... greatest jedi in the movies is undoubtedly Yoda!

But Any of the jedi from KotoR series are much more powerful than any 'modern' jedi. Jedi/Sith skills have been in decline for millennia... i mean look at Bastila's battle meditation ability... capable of manipulating entire fleets of starships in battle...

None of the Jedi/Sith in the 'modern' setting compare to these titans of Force Users.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

I'd agree with the thing about Darth Nihilus, except that i killed him easily in the game
I'd have to say "The Exile" (wikipedia it) as the most powerful, since he's pretty much whatever you make him.
If you discount games, which I think best, then Yoda would be the greatest. Most experience and power. If you really want to know how powerful a Jedi is, ask yourself: "What if they went to the dark side?"

Can you imagine a Star Wars character more powerful than Yoda with the full capabilities of both sides of the Force?

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

The Exile is the player character in KotoR 2 right?
Then i'd have to agree... the Force Bond thing that the Exile has with virtually every sentient and even robotic being is an incredible power... not to mention the slew of other abilities at his or her disposal.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

yes, "The Exile" is the generic name given to the KOTOR2 character
But my point is that in a game, you must have unlimited power at your disposal in order for the inevitable "save the galaxy or destroy it" choice. So I don't think any character exclusively from a game should count.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

which may have been why i listed only the npc's from the game... they're limited... the PC is basically unlimited... granted i did list Revan, but Revan pre-memory wipe was still awesome.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

Revan by far. Simply because he was awesome before he had his memory wiped, and remained so afterwards in my case Another point being that the other Jedi Masters of the time still had a great fear of him after his memory was wiped.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

I guess I'm one of the only ones who think that none of the four mentioned are the greatest. xD

I believe Kyp Durron will someday become the greatest of them all, even surpassing his mentor Luke Skywalker. ...I always liked Kyp. He was a cool, dark character. His and Luke's scenes from the three books of "Jedi Academy" (especially the ones where Kyp rebelled) inspired a fanfic of mine which was lost when our old computer crashed.

Re: The Greatest Jedi of All

If we are talking about the greatest jedi in the movies it must be yoda
and here's why...

*He lived for 900 years

*He wasnt defeated by anyone(He died of old age)

*He has trained some of the greatest jedi/sith of all time-Count Dooku,Mace Windu,Luke Skywalker,Obi-Wan Kenobi(before Qui Gon Jinn took over),Ki-Adi Mundi and he also instructed all the younglings in the temple before they were assigned to a master

*He is more than a match for Darth Sidious and Count Dooku in Lightsaber combat(despit the fact that they are at least twice his size!) and in force ability

*He was grand master of the jedi council

*He has the highest midi-chlorian count (besides Anakin)

*He survived 'order 66'

*His powers have remained consistant with age(unlike Obi-Wan whose powers faded as he got older)

*He has never succumbed to the dark side(unlike Anakin/Dooku)

*His lightsaber matches his skintone
