I can see where you are coming from with this DG, but I'd argue it's closer to Dazzler's power, or Cannonball's younger brother (Jed I think) who was an exact match for what Sloweye is saying, but the character died years ago... possibly from the Legacy Virus - my memory is a little hazy

I always wanted the ability to teleport in some form or another, so Nightcrawler's power would be the one I'd go for. If not that, then some form of telepathy or telekinesis, although not as strong as Xavier or Jean Grey: possibly somewhere closer to Psylocke's level.

I saw an X-men episode with a teenager that could alter reality, I think his name was Proteus, or something like that. He messed with Wolverine and made him cry (which is pretty cool) but his power was the ability to shape reality, which in itself sort of transposes as any power. So I'd have that.

Proteus could indeed warp reality, but had little control over what he did, and constantly needed to feed as his power consumed his own body... he also had an terrible reaction to steel/iron...

However Mad Jim Jaspers had a similar power, but had a lot more control over it. Of course as his name might suggest he was mad...

I'd like some sort of power over time, but not like the strangely limited power over space/time that Hiro has in Heroes. For instance, I'd like to be able to make time stop, fast forward, or rewind for the whole world or 1 particular object. No need to teleport when you can freeze the whole world, walk wherever you wanted to go in the first place, and unfreeze it, thereby making it seem like your journey occurred instantaneously.

Starbeast, I would also like the ability to fly, but it seems unpractical to have simply to get around other modes of transportation. In this case why not just have Blink's power to travel anywhere the mind can think of instantly?

I would just like to glide up high through the air where no one can bother me, just like in my dreams. Plus I wouldn't have to pay those greedy car manufacturers and dispicable oil companies a penny of my hard earned money. They can go to hell with their profits.

flight IS a nice power... but it puts you right where everyone can see (and shoot) you... add in a nice force field, it could help you get away from it all Starbeast

Or flying and invisibility, although you might get blindsided by planes.

HAHAHA! Maybe forcefields are intrinsically better than invisibility after all. I guess it all depends on how much you're paying attention to everything around you.
