I'f probably go into shock. Absolute obsession with details of law corrupts absolutely.

First, I'd have them deloused. Then I would ask them to politely refrain from mitigating.
If they didn't comply, I'd send in Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum to mitigate them.

Tell my friend. He's a stand-up comedian who does a lot of really weird material, but I'll bet even he won't be able to get a laugh out of this dilemma.
