My apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but I've been busy. Battlestar Galactica creator Glen A. Larson has recently announced that he as acquired the movie rights and plans on producing a feature film in the near future. Unlike the current television version, the story is a continuation movie that picks up right after the final episode entitled, "The Hand of God". The storyline takes place 20 years later which reunites original series stars Richard Hatch as Apollo and Dirk Benedict as Starbuck. They will be playing their characters as older, wiser and seasoned officers in charge of the Galatica, while the stars of the movie will be a new generation of Galaticans who were born in space with no recollection of the holocaust. I've always thought that including a crossover with the new cast of Galatica would be a good idea because it would unite both fan factions, thus, creating a bigger fanbase. However, Larson does not plan on doing that. Perhaps Moore will do a crossover in a future episode involving Richard Hatch playing both characters Apollo and Zarek in the same scene. Personally, I think it would be cool to see.
