Re: Spit or Swallow

Hmmm, a confection I've never heard of. Will it kill me? Will it give me magic powers? Only one way to find out ....

Swallow

(I'm a risk-taker, me)

Shortbread biscuits and a glass of sweet sherry.

Re: Spit or Swallow

Spit and for one reason: I hate cucumber.

A bowl of special homemade chili and the heat that implies. (In other words, MY homemade chili. )

If the next person says swallow to that they're friends for life.

Re: Spit or Swallow

Well I like my chilli hot, but with flavour, not just hot for the sake of it. But if it was put in front of me I'd probably manage to Swallow most of it

Roasted sweet potatos and parsnips with a teensy bit of honey.

Re: Spit or Swallow

Swallow. I take it what you call muffins are what I'd call crumpets? Or do you mean muffins as in cupcake? Either way, swallow. (I'm not a fussy eater, as you can probably tell...)

Porridge made with milk.

Re: Spit or Swallow

Swallow - I make it with soya milk, a pinch or two of salt and some soya cream when it comes out of the microwave. Very swallowable

(You know, I'm not sure. I think crumpets are different - what do you call a hot-cross bun that doesn't have a cross on it? Current buns? Doesn't sound exotic enough )

Hot cross buns with butter and lime jam and a nice cup of tea.

Ooh sounds good, I've never had lime jam. Swallow.

Paella (sp? My spelling isn't brilliant when it comes to Spanish words...)
