Re: Spit or Swallow

Let's face it. I'll swallow most things in a sandwich, *coughs*, apart from capers, cauliflower, peas and cinnamon *shudders*. So yes to all the above!

Stuffed vine leaves with the funny gluey sauce over the top that looks a bit like um... well, you know. *goes green*

You make it sound so appealing, I'll just spit now and save time in the bathroom later

Cauliflower cheese with red peppers and sweetcorn.

Re: Spit or Swallow

I'll swallow the cauliflower cheese and sweetcorn, (it's the ONLY way I'll eat cauliflower, isn't that strange?!) but spit the red peppers. Now orange peppers... I'd massacre those. Yummingtons!

Cheese and mustard egg and crusty bread bake. (A savoury bread and butter pudding if you will).

Re: Spit or Swallow

(I can never tell any difference in taste between red, yellow or green, probably cos I only ever mix them into things like the above)

Sounds curiously intriguing - swallowing with only a little trepidation over the mustard aspect ...

Porridge made in the microbe with a pinch of salt, left to cool and sugar mixed in, topped off with fresh cream.

You haven't lived, my gel.

Spit. I hate cereals with hot milk since I was a kid. I'll lick the syrup spoon, though

Re: Spit or Swallow

Cinder toffee - posh title for honeycomb! Surely you'd swallow that?

I'd deffo swallow anything related to raspberries for they are my favourite foodstuffs. (Although they're up against some pretty stiff competition - every other food every concocted).

Milk bottles, the chewy sweet sort.

Re: Spit or Swallow

Swallow, I love those - there used to be an ice lolly with the same taste when I were a lad, btu I've never found it again since ...

(and I'll go back and pick up the honeycomb while I'm at it, if retrospective swallows are ok )

Candy floss

(and don't forget to floss ...)
