Re: 1000 Post Club

*returns with the spoils*

Now, then, honey-roasted almonds, a variety of ice creams, hot and cold beverages and ... somebody's CD Player ... How did that get there? Oops! I hope it still works after someone played a home-made CD on it!

Aha!! Another cheezie wotsit fan (They're a kind of cheesey crisps, sorta thing, Rosie ... far too common for the dignitaries of the 3000 Post Club, though )

Ah! Rosie ... errr ... none of this came from the 3000 Post Club, btw, even though they're all engraved with the 3000 Post Club Monogram

SOLD! Now, that's a binding contract. 1000 lbs. of honey-roasted almonds for 1000 litres (or quarts, I don't care) of choc-mint ice cream. This will be a standing weekly order.

(Pssst. I hate choc-mint ice cream, and I noticed that the huge industrial freezer in the back of this place is loaded with the stuff. Why does the 1000 Post Club have such a massive freezer? Did this place use to be an abattoir or something?)

Re: 1000 Post Club

You have been pilfering, young man!

That's my CD player thank you very much And it wasn't a home made CD as it was 'protected'! One of my favourite CDs and it gets eaten by a CD player

The cheesy crisps sound very nice but your correct we certainly don't have them in the 3000 Club!

If they are engraved with the 3000 Club Monogram then of course they are ours, silly goose!

A deal!

Oh the huge freezer is especially for the choc-mint ice-cream, which I absolutely love and so keep plenty on hand.

Re: 1000 Post Club

*thinks* Hmmm. Looks like we might have something to negotiate with for that swimming pool in the 3000 Post Club after all

Yes, you were catched, Inter

I shall have to think of some kind of punishment, we can't have this sort of thing going on

Re: 1000 Post Club

You're in luck, Inter: we have a suitable wall handy and I have the hammer and nails.

* Ursa takes them out of his bag. (The hammer and nails, that is.) *

Darp! We'll have to have a whip round for the other bit of equipment required.

EDIT: Oh, and welcome in, Clansman.

Re: 1000 Post Club

But soon not to be whole (and the only hazel is the whip; it seems appropriate that the hazel is a member of the birch family ).

Re: 1000 Post Club

Thanks, Rosie.

But "clever"? Given Cadbury's soon-to-be new owner, perhaps "krafty" would be a more appropriate adjective.

Re: 1000 Post Club

Ok, time out for a Reality update: Is Kraft buying Cadburies? I'd heard it was Hershies. Or are they all the same, now? - and please note, I asked for a time out, not a Time Out

Re: 1000 Post Club

Perhaps we should wait and give Krafty a bit of a whip instead! Fancy having no Cadbury's around - that would be like 'the end is nigh' as our Tien would say!
