*Steps out to the doorway, not turning around* Weather man says there's a cold front developing. *The room and its inhabitants freeze instantly as Karn steps back out*

And.....we're back to the steam......

*Sets thermals to clearing out clouds of steam from the sublimated "freeze"*

Now where have I seen this movie before....?

*Drinks the pepsi, which probably tasted better before the unseasonal freeze/thaw*

Boy! That kind of quick weather change reminds me of living in Calgary. And makes me wonder about the wisdom of wearing traditional clan garb...

Someone remembers their 'Tale of Two Cities"

I'm lovely and warm - used a Druid of Fire spell.

Sends another spell of warm throughout the Clubs.

You weren't meant to be a victim of that freeze spell, Rosemary.

Grim was because he destroyed the Wish Granter 9000 I ordered for this club. I'm still miffed about it!

And it's playing merry hell with my champagne.

Can we get a bit of warmth consistency here, please. If anti-heat missiles or whatevers are being directed, can they be under some kind of guidance system so as to ensure accuracy. After the champagne froze, the glass shattered. Very messy. And a waste of good wine.

Can we have some of those mini-hoover gizmos do the necessary please? HareBrain likes to wear comfy slippers as I recall, and the last thing he wants is splinters in his paws. He'll never catch that tortoise if he has to wear bandages.

Re: 1000 Post Club

Well, the Asylum has its goblins, but I don't suppose HJ gave thought to the general upkeep in here.

*Considers the mess on the floor, then redirects the thermals (quite the opposite of mini-hoovers, or even "mini" Ursas) at the floor. The resulting slipstream catches the general debris and sweeps it out the window, leaving a clean floor, at least, and luckily missing Esioul by inches.*

HJ, can you see if you can bribe the goblins to occasionally make a swing thru here? I understand they can be bribed with Gorgonzola....

Re: 1000 Post Club

*Shuts and locks the door behind him* Ah, Grim, I've been looking all over for you. I believe you owe me something? *Draws a menacing elemental ice crystal* Elemental fire vs. elemental ice-which would win through?

"That's going too far, Karn."

Perhaps, but.....

"Put the thing away. Ask nicely."

Good god. It's simply a toy. *sigh* You're worse than Juken after Nixie's training, Tempest.

Haven't had a chance to visit C.h.r.o.n.s. yet, but you may rest assured I haven't forgotten.

*Looks around to see who the ice elemental is menacing*

Re: 1000 Post Club

What I am wondering is, Grim, why did you do it? It was supposed to be a nice present for the 1k room.

Re: 1000 Post Club

Well, I couldn't really be expected to know that the tumbleweeds would have an appetite for Wish Maker 9000s, could I? I always thought of them as analytical first, destructive only after antagonistic motive was established; I'd originally pictured the tumbleweed studying the device....

Apologies, for sure, and I'm pretty sure I saw a couple other devices like it in C.h.r.o.n.s. the last time Grimlet the Younger and I were there.....

*The door unlocks*

To steal a line from Mel Brooks, it's good to be the door warden.....

EDIT: *Flows out the door, headed for C.h.r.o.n.s. .... to be continued.....*

Well, better not let this goes to waste.

*drinks it down soundly*

*Rosie shouts down to 1st level*

You get rid of that ice elemental, young Karn! I only just warmed up the place for you all yesterday!

Fire Elementals will win through anytime!

*Sends down a nice bucket full of Australian fresh river water for HJ*

Re: 1000 Post Club

Ice elementals are always so misunderstood.....*Shakes his head* It's so sad. You know, Rosemary, some of Juken's best friends are ice elementals!!!
