The Asylum

*as before, a pinpoint of light appears in the void. the light swiftly expands, walls appear and take on substance even as they grow to support a massive structure, a room nearly the size of an assembly hall, with a mixture of architectural styles, from moorish and arabesque to something nearly resembling a frank lloyd wright nightmare or piece of frank r. paul art. in tow is a (momentarily) subdued elder godlet, wearing an expression of bemused frustration: obviously something has been said to curb her usual behavior, yet no hint of what passes between either her or the person she is with. j.d. looks behind him, glancing meaningfully at k'tabarinth, then motions to the various creatures waiting in the corridor, to which the newly formed room has now joined.*

It's all yours, kids. Have at it.

*glancing once more at tabby, a brief, slightly malicious smile appears on his lips, almost immediately disappearing. "Remember" he says, before walking toward the north-eastern wall, through which he then disappears, leaving an obviously puzzled and irritated tabby behind him*

Re: The Asylum

Wheels in the supermarket trolley, unloads it and gives it to Freda to return. The haggis hog the fireside rug and wait for their basket.

Re: The Asylum

Wheels in flightcase, and scans round for vacant spot to stash same; an embarrassment of choice for the time being.

Finding a convenient cupboard, starts loading in five or six kilos of chocolate bars.

Re: The Asylum

What was that Sofa, you want your own alcove. Which wall? .

Points finger and an alcove appears next to fire, Lenny's sofa trundles over and settles down.

Now for the ice carven, you know I think it would be better outside, Freda can you reinforce the hole I've made next to the stables?

Re: The Asylum

Was just wondering whether we should get TEiN to give JD the sign of ending, or at least a final benediction (), and the place closed! Well, definitely don't want him giving the opening blessing here, although asylum? I ask you....

*floats over to the section resembling a Frank Lloyd Wright nightmare, settling on a prairie house fireplace with a thick oak mantle that has just enough of a gap between the smooth stone border and the mantle. Removes the pocket universe from a hidden pocket (where else) and with a flash transfers it to the gap. Floats over to a bare spot on the wall next to the door, pulls out a hammer and nails, then hangs the placard listing of fiery creatures.*

Umm, JD forgot the sconces again, Ace. Might you have a spare on the trolley there?

Re: The Asylum

Tangle staggers to his feet and shakes himself.

"No harm done, Nixie, it's probably the only way he'd agree to the move." Throws down haggis basket and begins to extract sconces. "Somebody want to help me with the mural ? Freda'll be back shortly, Nixie, she's just off to Tesco's to return the trolley."

Re: The Asylum

*Two spinning disks of flame lift the mural into the air, where it hovers expectantly*

Just tell it where you want it to go, and the thermals will do the rest, short of securing it to the wall.....

*Makes a quick terse motion with his hand*

There, permanent assignment. They'll deliver the mural wherever you want it, Ace. I'm being paged by the Grimlets....

*waves, then arrows towards the "sconce" and bashes head*

Ouch.....

*limpingly, wobblingly, lilts out the window and slowly disappears over the horizon*

Re: The Asylum

"That wall there'll do, that's probably why JD left it clear." Grabs tools and stepladder and sets to work. "Cheers."

Re: The Asylum

Goes to help Ace, picks up buckets and starts to pour in. I know I could do it quicker but it upsets them when I transport them using magic
