Freda scuttles in, waves a palp to Ice, helps herself to pringles and claims the fireside rug. The Ace struggles in looking bedraggled.

"Eeeech ! The goatshed's flooded, so I've had to move the goats and clean the place out. Roll on summer. Evening, Ice."

Indeed Ace indeed, all this ice and snow is terrible. *sips from mug and a tendril of green smoke curls lazily round his head*

You should get a sump pump for the basement really would help.

Any water daft enough to invade the basement deserves all it gets. I might drop the Lizard People a line, though. They live here too.

Yeah, maybe be a good idea to have them help!

Wouldnt want the basement to be overwhelmed, maybe I will see one of my demon plumbers.....they do well with hot water!

The basement can't be overwhelmed. The Lizard people might be in the way for a flooding, though. We don't usually get on but they don't deserve to be flooded out.

I get the feeling everywhere I go it snows. Mind you, it's wholly conceivable everyone feels like that at present – well, excepting Rosey and Wy (oh, and I suppose a few others down under, too, and even in South America)

Physically, I haven't died yet (I'm sure I would have noticed) and I missed out on the flu that's been striking all around me. Otherwise, still slowly degenerating into ruin, thank you.

And getting over the withdrawal symptoms.
