I've had them for a while and the most I've done is popped a cushion.

They've not for causing destruction.

Well, he's seventeen years old-which, if the site I had was correct, comes out to be around 76 human years-and he's not doing well.

He was after a vet visit for about a day or two, but, he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and it tends to be pretty bad....

Losing a pet is never, ever easy or nice. They really work themselves into your heart. I would say that it sounds like he's had damned good innings, and that you had a long time together, but at the same time, from my own exeriences, such things don't make it any easier. I'm sorry.

Well, he's done pretty darned good considering that this was only his second vet visit in his entire life.
