So our friendly wrym *at this, Wat leaps off the fridge and zips around the fireball a few times, then returns to perch* is named Wat; Freda does have a flair for picking them.... |

After which time he'll probably build his power armour at last and take over the world with his nanobots. Another one of my housemates, who's staying here, is doing a PhD to do with nanoparticles, and particularly what effect they might have in the environment. Especially as they're now being used in things used as toothpaste, washing machines and socks. Whereas I'm going to do a Masters focused on scriptwriting and make a film about it all! |

It's not so bad, Nottingham is about forty-five minutes away by train from my family home, so when I pop up there for a visit, I could go a little further and see him, too. Yah...silver nanoparticles are particularly popular because they kill harmful bacteria. But once they're washed out into the environment, who knows what kind of effect they'll have on it (well...I know some of the effects on fish, due to the third year project my friend did...) |
