Re: The Asylum

Plate armour when lapping a cat? That's an interesting concept. (Ah, no, the verb 'to lap' has other connotations round cats, doesn't it? What a pity, it felt good)

I used to know a cat (not an official owner, just an occasional seductee) who had the claw flex reflex when scratched behind the ears, The scars have all faded, and only in wet weather… it's probably a good thing I don't live in Scotland.

Did you consider, Miri, having a writing project on your computer in parallel with chrons, for the occasional dull – what am I saying, the occasional less active moments? I have one on each of the computers I log on from (yes, I know, far too many projects started and not brought to completion; but I'm still learning to write).

Re: The Asylum

Wanders in and collapses into the ugly chair. Freda doesn't even notice.

Re: The Asylum

Freda abandons her jigsaw long enough to hug Mir and Hoopy.

"Evening ladies."

*raises eyebrow at Hoopy* Is she a lady today?

Heya Freda. *sits at the table with the jigsaw*

Re: The Asylum

*passes Ace his tea* I don't think we need to resort to murder. Unless of course it's the chair we're killing...

Yeah Hoops where's the rampant destruction and chaos?

Re: The Asylum

Third year stuff; just one big stress. Wanting to get my essay out of the way so I can work on my dissertation.

Re: The Asylum

*shudders* Yeah now I'm trying to remember why I want to go to college...you're making it difficult.

Sounds stressful, you're holding up better than I would though, unless you've resorted to pounding your head into the wall already.

Re: The Asylum

'Cos it's awesome is why. Might be a lot of work but I wouldn't be anywhere else.
