Re: The Asylum

Ace, I just want to say I'm sorry for the book to the head and for tying Freda's legs up. It was the nanobots inside me controlling my motor functions, hence my being locked up in this storage container.

Re: The Asylum

"No problem, this place may be crazy but you're safe and among friends. It might help to remember that."

Begins to pass tea and the biscuit barrel to anyone who wants them.

On the bright side, it's one of the few things Freda can't bite through.

Re: The Asylum

It's not about being safe -- even though most of you seem pretty damn' scary; try suddenly getting grabbed by something that you can't even begin to describe, something you don't even see in your worst nightmare. It's the fact that every time I look at you all, even though I'm seeing you, my head's yelling at me that none of you can be real and that it's all impossibly insane...

Gah. *Throws her blanket over her head*

Accepts a cup of tea before starting to winding coils of wire round the cylinder.*

Thanks.

Re: The Asylum

Ooh. How much longer until we can tell whether or not those nanos are gone?

Re: The Asylum

It's a basic military storage tank, Ace.

I hope Freda understands that I wasn't acting under my own free will when I tied her legs up.....did you try to explain that, Ace?

Re: The Asylum

I'd like to reiterate: My nanos are not controlling anyone or anything; at the moment. If necessary, this situation may be reviewed and action taken tp stabilise the situation, perhaps for the long term.

Re: The Asylum

*Pulls the blanket off her head for a moment*

Nanotechnology I can grasp, seeing as my friend goes on about it all the time. It's at least possible (unlike the rest of you). So it seems to me...if they were...what? Put in the fridge? To stop you destroying it...then I really don't see why they would cause you to destroy everything else.

I think you're using it as an excuse.

Re: The Asylum

They're sabotaging me for putting a hole through the fridge door, sane one.

And how about you grasping the fact I'm a storm elemental that has, when healthy, complete power over every single kind of weather possible?

Re: The Asylum

Some of us are explicable, Hoopy.

* Ursa removes his head, tosses it into the air - only just missing a rafter - then reconnects it to his neck. *

Isn't technology wonderful....

Re: The Asylum

*Shakes head* Again, why retaliate with the thing you were trying to stop (i.e damage). Doesn't make sense. And I think the...er...giant white bear would know what his technology does.

And because it's nonsense, is why.

Hm. *Pulls the blanket back over her head*

Re: The Asylum

So what exactly happened to you, Hoopy? One day you were as nuts as the rest of us, and the next you're insisting we all belong under psyciatric care.

Some of you do. The rest of you shouldn't even exist.
