Re: The Asylum

NOOOOOOOOOOO!

My statue!

Do you know how hard it is to remove something from the Louvre? I've been wanting Nike for ages, she wasn't enjoying it on that stairwell, and now you give her to Lenny's Sofa?? I'll never get her back!!

Re: The Asylum

*JD quietly enters the Asylum for the final time*

Okay, boys... last of the things out and to the old place. This one is showing a few too many cracks for my liking. Hmmm... that gives me an idea....

*waits until the goblins, centaurs, and other assorted help (drafted for the purpose) have finished removing all portables, then goes to the window and makes a gesture, upon which a "black and lurid tarn" appears outside, in which the now Gothic image of the Asylum appears, complete with "a barely perceptible fissure, which, extending from the roof of the building in front, made its way down the wall in a zigzag direction, until it became lost in the sullen waters of the tarn"*

Yes, that seems fitting, given the upcoming season.

*exits from the room, turning to look one more time at the interior, which has oddly grown dim, dreary, and excessively antiquated in appearance. as he closes the door and walks away, he hears a sound behind him. turning to look he sees, not the tarn swallowing the last fragments of the Asylum, but a horde of angry piranhas snapping at his heels... at which sight, he promptly shifts into high gear and heads for the renovated Tea Room....*
